Usually when you want to visit a web page again for reading it later, you would bookmark it in your browser. Sometimes, you may also manually save a web page to read it later. Here is a browser extension called “Read Later Fast” for Google Chrome that can easily save the web pages visited by you for reading them later. No need to bookmark them. Also, it does not require the web page to be saved manually by giving it a filename, etc. Moreover, it appears that the page already displayed is saved as such without downloading it again. It simply gives an option to save the web page with a mouse click. Subsequently, that web page can be read either online or offline in Chrome browser.

The benefit of using Read Later Fast extension is that you don’t need to keep several tabs open in the browser for the purpose of reading several web pages one by one that you might have opened in your browser. With the help of this extension, you can simply save those pages in your Chrome browser, and then later on you can read those web pages at leisure even if you are offline.

This extension also allows you to save the web pages in the cloud on its own website by using a free account.

This extension allows you to read the saved web pages in two different formats, namely, “Original” and “Text View”. In the Text View option, the saved web page is displayed in a clean format without showing the unnecessary components of the saved web page. The Original format shows the saved web page in its original format, though sometimes some of the components of the saved web page may not be displayed properly.

Previously, there were some concerns about this extension since it also used to install a component called “Price Comparison While You Shop”. Some people thought that this component was a malware or Adware. However, now the installation of the aforesaid component can be controlled through the Options, and by default this component is not enabled.
