Google has recently launched a Google Chrome browser extension called “Adsense Publisher Toolbar” that allows you to check your real-time Adsense earnings with a single mouse click. No need to separately login to your Adsense account. You can install this official extension from Google in your Chrome browser. It will give you details of your Adsense earnings in a convenient manner without leaving the web page that you’re browsing.
So, install the Adsense Publisher Toolbar extension in your Chrome browser and just click the extension icon to view your real-time Adsense account information. The first time when you use this extension, it will ask you to allow access to your Adsense account, as shown in the figure below:

The extension uses the secure OAuth protocol to connect to your Adsense account. Next time onwards, it remembers your settings and will show you the real-time information about your Adsense account and the ads served on your websites, as shown in the following snapshot:

It shows you the following details about your Adsense account:
- Account earnings summary for current day, previous day, current month, and previous month.
- Top 5 custom channels for your Adsense account.
- Top 5 URL channels.
- Lifetime Adsense revenue earned by you. Under this heading, you’ll get the details of your total Adsense earnings since you started using Adsense.
In addition to the above, if a website on which you’ve placed Adsense ads is currently open in Chrome browser and you click this extension icon, it shows an additional option “Show ad overlays on…”, as shown below:

Select this option, and this extension will now show ad overlays on the ads displayed on your currently displayed website. So, on each ad, you’ll notice the instant summary of that ad unit’s earnings for the current day, previous day and last 7 days. This will help you to find out which ads are performing better for you. These ad overlays will also show links to go to your AdSense account directly.
One big advantage of Adsense Publisher Toolbar is that once you’ve authorized it to access your Adsense account, you don’t have to remain logged in to your connected Google Account (and thus you can switch to another Google Account) and yet it will continue to show your real-time Adsense earnings. Of course, if you log out from this Extension itself, then it won’t show these details to you unless you authorize it again to access your Adsense account. This feature can be useful if you’ve several Google Accounts (such as more than one Gmail accounts, etc.) since you won’t be required to log out from your Google Account that is linked to your Adsense account for viewing your Gmail account linked to another Google account.

I really like this extension. I have one little problem that my AdSense account is not the same as my mail Gmail account. I’ve been struggling with this for the last year. I hope this extension will allow me to switch just for checking Adsense earning but not everything else. Either way this extension is really cool and I’ll let you know how I make out.
